Abstrak

This research was conducted to evaluate estrous cycle lenght in the mice virgin strain BALB/c (Mus musculus) given music sound. This research was conducted experimentally applying complete Randomized Design (RAL Design) 4 treatments and 5 repeating. The mice was taken sound music (30 minutes everedy days for 15 days). The tested sound music were control/no sound (P1), classical music (P2), heavy metal music (P3), and the sound of cats fighting (P4). The data consisted estrous cycle from used methode include evaluating vaginal cytology and visual observation of the external genitalia. The results showed that the treatment did not significantly affect the estrous cycle length in the mice virgin strain BALB/c (p>0.05).
